Ginger
Hi,

Ginger is a big hit, both at home and work. She is just the most wonderful dog and we are very happy to have been able to be adopted by her. She has adapted very well and has proven to be almost completely house broken.

Thanks again,

Cindy

Here is a note from Gracie:

Hi Mom,

Just wanted you to know, I'm doing great in my new home.  I was such a good girl on the ride home last night.  We went to PetSmart and I got a new bed (The size of a baby crib) and I even slept in it last night.  I got new food and water dishes, some bones to chew on, a tug rope, and a lot of toys.  My favorite is the squeaking pink pig.  I was so good last night my new mom took me outside with no leash or chain and let me play fetch with my new kong, and my new kong frisbee.  I even got a sack of toys for the lake.  The guys are out putting up my new fence right now.  When it gets done I'll send you a picture of me in it.  It's really big, about a third of an acre.

Last night my new mom was looking at my papers, and found out yesterday was my birthday.  My Aunt Michelle and Uncle Duane came over and brought me a birthday cake, a card and some chew bones.  They said I am such a good dog, and really liked me.  I had 2 accidents in the house, but nobody yelled at me, cause they knew I was nervous in my new home.  Jacob plays with me a lot, but we both get tired.  I also met the neighbors cat, and I was nice to her.  I hope she doesn't think she can come to MY house any time she wants.  Well, mom the fence is getting close to being done, so I am gonna take my new mom back outside, and hurry those guys.  Hope your doing OK with out me.  Tell the rest of the family I said hi!  Take care.

Griggs
We are sooo happy with our new friend and companion Grig.  He is such a treasure.  He rode in my lap the whole way home.  Before we left the store I gave him a choice of two toys, you will see in the pictures the one he chose.  He carried it proudly out of the store into the car.  We took him to visit his Grandpa and Uncle before we went home.  It did not take him long to warm up to people.  He looked at the cats but did not bark or try to catch them. Then we took him home.  Dan went in first, while I let Grig go for a walk with me.  That gave Dan a chance to put all the kitties away.  Grig came in and inspected the place thoroughly.  After a while we let the cats out one at a time.  Each cat puffed up like a Halloween Kitty.  They were more curious about him than he was about them.  I kept him on a short leash the whole time just in case he lost his mind.  No problems so far.   A little later in the evening I took the leash off him and he either slept next to me on the sofa or followed me around.  He was very interested when we had dinner at the dinning room table, but he did not make a nuisance of himself and we did not give him any scraps.  So far the kitties have been able to walk around freely (however annoyed) and he has not been aggressive towards them.  We have three cats and two of them are always playing king of the hill.  When I pick a cat up he is right by my side, I suppose he is wondering what I am doing holding someone else.  He looked at the ferrets in their cage.  That will be our next hurdle. So that is the story of Grig's homecoming.  He has not bothered the Christmas tree.  He did mark one of the ornament boxes and later the poor thing threw up some of the treats we plied him with.  That is what soap and water are for isn't it?  Not bad for the first day.  I took him for about 5 walks and we are going to bed now.  He is a fan of sleeping with us already and we couldn't be happier.  Amazingly he has not barked once, that is a huge plus for my quiet husband. LOL

Thank you so much for all you and your friends from Take My Paw have done for our little family.  You have the biggest hearts and this has to be one of the most rewarding and wonderful things any human could do.

We appreciate and applaud your efforts.

Sincerely,

Leslie, Dan and Grig Hoffman
