Take My Paw Intake Protocol for Pets
All dogs above 4 months old must be up to date on all vaccinations, a rabies shot, and heartworm test for adults and spayed or neutered. You may be asked to have other vet care done before the dog will be admitted into the rescue group.
We ask for a small donation for dogs above 4 months old, this goes towards the cost of taking care of the dog.
Only if a foster is available are animals taken into Take My Paw with evaluations from the foster.
If there is not a foster home available, an owner assist can be offered and vaccinations must be up to date and spayed/neutered must be done.

Right now we do not have foster homes available for cats. If you are willing to foster and show a cat or kitten that you have they must be altered, up to date with shots and a negative feline leukemia test.
