Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let yall know that I'm at my forever home. and it comes with playmates too, we are all about the same size now but I'm sure to be taller soon. They even shared all thier toys with me. I found a few that I like but nothings bettter than paper and crinkle bags to make lots of noise! I met lots of people this weekend and it was so much fun. Everyone had to petting me, and saying cute silly things, I was just having so much fun getting love from everybody. I had a few accidents today but mom says I'll get the hang of it soon. (I thought outside was just another place to run and play and chase the kids and run and jupm in the leaves) My mom thought I would do great if I slept with my new friends, little did she know how much I just wanted to cuddle with her so I spent last night with mom and some really nice warm blankets. Sunday was a busy day too. I went on several car rides and I sat very patiently next to mom. Then mom took me for a long walk. Boy did I fool her, I got tired of walking and just sat down and looked at her her and would not walk any further. I had already done my business so I figured we were done and it was time to come in, which is just what I did and took a long nap.

Hi Everyone, Nala here, I wanted to give ya'll another update.

Well, I've been here a few days now and am settling in nicely. Still working on potty training, but hey, I'm a little girl, what do you expect. I may have been the runt of the litter but I came in here strutt'in my stuff and Mom says I'm not a runt anymore. I am the queen! Evidently I am quite entertaining because my Mom sure laughs a lot. She takes me wherever she goes and that's really neat cause I see lots of new things and people love to talk to me. I am really good in the truck and mom never leaves me for very long. We go on long walks and have great conversations too. I let her know I've walked far enough when I just plop down and decide not to walk any further. So we are working on endurance-(both of us). The neighborhood is good too as everyone uses good behavior. Somebody forgot to tell mom that black cloth means playtime cause she has this black fleece jacket and every time she puts it on I know its fun and games. I get nippy and feisty and play really hard. It is so much fun here, I can't thank you enough for letting me come here. T

omorrow we get to go to another house where there is another big dog to play with, her name is Jasmine, Jazzie for short. Mom said she was a runt too and her mom and dad were shepherd and husky. She has a bright blue eye and for an old girl, she is nice to me. There are littl boys too. They love me and I've heard them say I am their best friend.. Sure makes me feel good. Mom says I have to be on my best though; and when we are done we are going to the pet store to stock up on more toys, treats and food. I am so excited. But first we have to go to bed Mom has a box on her bed sitting on its side and I have a few blankets all to myself so I make a little nest in there and snuggle down in it and just close enough to touch my mom. We both sleep pretty good. Mom has a breathing problem at night and wheres a special mask hooked up to a hose and sometimes there are bells that sound cause I guess she stops breathing, t' when I start licking her, she wakes right up and starts breathing again. That's not why I'm here but she sure love my kisses. Well, its late and I have a big day tomorrow. I'll write again soon., Love and friends forever, Nala

Nioka
Just a quick update on Nioka.
He is now 18 and half pounds, full of energy and the kennel loved him. They played with him during the day.
He comes when called even if he is doing something else, has discovered he can jump on the couch to be by mom and is having fun chasing grasshoppers. He has had his booster shots, will have his next appointment in mid June.
Thanks so much for rescuing him. He is a real joy!

Norma Jean renamed Gabby
Gabby is doing great! She and Ghost are having a blast together. They play so well. It is really neat to watch them chase each other around the yard, and the house. They each will have an end of a tug toy and run forever with it. When Gabby decides she no longer wants to tug, she drops down and let Ghost drag her around with legs flat out behind her, mostly on her back. It is comical! She can be a fiesty one, she sure can hold her own with the Ghost! She does prefer to eat his food and he hers. I am still trying to fix that. She must not like the taste of her too much knowing the taste of his. Poops alot so I know she is getting enough. She weighed 13 pounds at her viist last week. The vet seems to think spaniel/collie mix as well. Possible Sheltie. She thinks 30 lbs. max. So cute! Healthy otherwise. Did question the previous vacines. Depending on he date of birth, as you mentioned the 29 and them figuring 14 wks putting it at the 24th (splitting hairs here), decides weather she needs one or two more. For me to decide, what do you think? Do we take the chance of over vacinating or undervacinating her? If you have a minute to let me know your thoughts, I would appreciate it. Gabby is still trying to master (more like tolerate) a leash. She is very uncooperative. She has been enjoying her "carries" around the block. This is our project for the week. We will walk. We will walk! I think if I keep telling myself this- it will work. At present, the leash is only a chew toy to her, nevermind what I have to say about it. I will be picking up a harness today to see if this helps. She is such a little princess! A very much loved Princess! Thank you for her. Hope to hear from you soon.

I think you should get these. Gerald shrank them down somehow..I dunno, I still can't work a computer. Anyway, let me know if you do and I will try to send more with a video. Gabs is doing very well. Still a pure joy. Growing everyday. She no longer is eating my carpet! Silly dog! Enters her crate without any problems and sleeps (or is at least quiet) through the night. Loves the heck out of all of us as we do her. Still has her timid moments. She is funny with some things. One is that she will only enter and exit from 2 of the 4 doors we have to our house. Silly silly dog! It is strange. Oh well, we all have our quirks! Makes the world go round! How are your pups? Are they still with you? Have you heard from Gabbys sisters? And how is Jet?? Thanks for the up date and keeping us in the loop! Abby is doing fantastic! She has grown a lot and just last week lost her lower canines, which I imagine her play mates to really appreciat - haha! Pretty much everyone in our neighborhood has a dog and Abby is friends with every one of them. She is very friendly and plays well with whomever is willing to put up with her energy level. It's save to say that her best friend is Bella, a one year old Aussi/Boarder Colliemix who lives just four houses down the street - these two guys reallyhit it off and will play for hours - it tires us out just watching them! One thing we observed is that, even though she plays verynicely, Abby usually ends up having the upper hand - she seems to have more energy and stamina than any other dog we've met, plus she's avery smart player. This past weekend we were at a dog park with her that you might even be familiar with: EZ Dog Park in the Brighton / Howell area. What a great setup, we're definitely going back! Abby has not yet been in the water, but she is warming up to the idea and was brave enough to stick her front paws in already! The weekend before we took her to Saugatuck and judging by the pictures attached I think it's save to say that she had a good time there :-) We stayed at a little dog friendly B&B and, due to Abby's cuteness, weren't even charged for her :-)
