Shadow renamed CoCo
Hi there,
We just wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Coco (aka as shadow).  We adopted her from your organization on July 4th, 2009

We just celebrated her birthday.  She is a wonderful dog!!  She has quite the personality.  She is over 60lbs and is pure muscle.

We love her!

Thanks again,

Shawna renamed Bella
Hello,

We adopted Shawna this weekend.  We wanted to let you know that we renamed her Bella (because she’s such a “pretty” girl – it was really an entire family decision – when we left Howell we took Shawna to a family party in Dewitt – and our nephew (27 years old) and his wife came running out to meet the new family member!  (as did everyone else – they were just the first)

They asked what her name was and then promptly said…..she looks like a Bella….we all agreed!  She did very well with all family members – she loves to be around people.

We’ve had what I consider to be two good nights and only a “few” accidents in the house – but we’ll get that under control J

Thanks again, we just love her…She’s home with her “mommy” – our daughter – they have taken to each other like glue!  My husband is like a kid again, he gets down on him belly and talks to her and plays with her…its’ very cute!  My son – the hard sell – gets all “mushy” with Bella – which cracks us all up!

Will send pictures soon!

Shay
When we got Shay this spring, I was told that you liked pictures of the dogs as they grew up. Well here is Shay toward the camera and her friend Cookie playing frisby. Cookie is about 11 years old and does not hear well and has a big abdominal tumor. When Shay came home Cookie just layed around but now she is much more active and has seemed to do much better with a friend at home.

Silis
Just a note from Silu's new family.  Silus, has gained about 15 lbs vet weighed him in at 35.4 lbs last visit. She said because of him having had ricketts so young his bones will be crooked and easily broken. Dwight and I will slowly decrease his vitamin D under doctors watchful eye. Silus , is quite the little watch dog and a great playmate for Chancey. We are finding out more about just how abused he was before being thrown over that 8 foot. He still is not very trusting around men, but Chancey is helping there. Thanks again for letting us adopt him, we can't imagine our lives without him. Will send more pictures as he matures.

Small Fry renamed Davidson
Small Fry (Now called Davidson) fits in quite well. He has a older sibling in our 5 year Basset (Harley). Yes that would be Harley & Davidson. He has picked things up very quickly since he and Harley are pretty much inseparable. He loves it outside and has plenty of room to explore new things like leaves, rocks and wood chips :).The whole family adores him.
I have attached a picture for you and will keep in touch with more, please feel free to keep in contact.

Smokey renamed Woody
Hi!

I just wanted to send some pictures of Woody (formerly known as Smokey). He's doing very well...eating a lot and getting into a lot of trouble. We have a lot of trees and large rocks in our yard, and he likes climbing them! I think he's part retriever because he always is carrying around a twig or a leaf in his mouth. He did have an upper respiratory infection, but the medicine worked and he's over it.   I've attached some pictures for you! The first one is of Woody playing in the yard, and the second is of him trying to grab some carrots in the fridge.

Thanks again for your help!

Snoopy renamed Miles
We just wanted to give you an update and send you a few photos of Snoopy.
Because we travelled such a great distance to Howell to adopt him, we have renamed him Miles.  After an exhausting ride home, Miles met his big sister, Faith.  Faith wasn't quite sure what to make of her little brother at first, but they have quickly become best friends.  Miles wants to be just like her!
Miles has spent the last two weeks learning all sorts of things.  He now walks on a leash every day, plays in his fenced back yard chasing bugs, and with the help of a little life jacket, he is even learning how to swim!
On our way home with him, we discovered one of the most amazing things.  The black markon his right size looks just like a heart when he sits.  We've attached a picture so everybody can see what it looks like.
Thank you so much for all of the work that you do to find homes for wonderful companions like Snoopy/Miles.  After just two weeks he has become an essential part of our lives.
Keep up the good work.

Soloman
We love having Soloman as part of our family.  He really loves the new house and all the property to run around.  He has put on a little over a pound a week since we got him and had his first vet check passed with all good news. Please see the attached pictures!  In the one picture, he found the Cat's bed and made it his own.  He has since outgrown the cats bed and sleeps in his chair next to the bed.

Sweet Pea
We adopted Sweet Pea from you on Saturday and I wanted to give you an update. She is right at home with our dog Bella and family and has been renamed Sutton by my daughter. She has began her training to become a Dr Paws Dog by learning to sit and in 6 - 9 months will join Bella visiting hospitals. I have attached two photos and hope you will pass them to the foster family. We do thank you for all the good work you do rescuing animals.
